Why Soul Restore
These experiences combine:
Expressive art-making
Reflection on the content and process of the art-making
Spiritual discernment (accessing innate wisdom)
Gentle guidance throughout the creative process
Rather than focusing on artistic skill, the emphasis is on what emerges on paper or canvas and what message it brings you.
Many participants describe these workshops as an opportunity to pause long enough to hear what they truly need in this season of life.

Creates opportunities for new perspectives

About Angela Sarafin
I spent 20 years providing therapy to help people understand themselves and make changes from the perspective that something was wrong with them.
I have a new perspective now. It’s not that something is wrong with us, it’s that our brains are in the habit of rehearsing negative stories and ignoring all other pathways.
A “runaway imagination” is often at the core of what ails us.
Some stories are so deeply embedded in our minds that talking just can’t shift the story. This is because our stories are more than words - they are an intricate lattice-work of past experiences, emotions, sensations, and meanings.
The physical act of creating is a unique experience that accesses many parts of the brain. When used in a guided and deliberate way, creating art can heal the stories that have kept us sick, tired, overwhelmed, and burned out.
I invite you to put therapy on the back burner and try something different.
