Angela published the book “The Spirit is in the Room” to address the challenges of implementing EMDR into a counseling practice and, more specifically, how to bring a client’s faith in Jesus Christ into the EMDR process.
Angela provides several services to assist counselors with EMDR.
Not an EMDR therapist? If your client is in DC, VA, or TX, Angela is happy to collaborate with you to provide targeted EMDR interventions while the client continues to work with you on other topics.
Trained in EMDR but feeling fearful or discouraged? Angela provides clinical consultation for therapists who are struggling with case conceptualization and other aspects of using EMDR with clients. *Note that consultation does not apply towards EMDRIA certification.
Not sure how EMDR fits with your Christian counseling process? Angela offers coaching to help therapists think creatively about how faith can be integrated into the EMDR model.
